Chicago Shoreline Flood Damage Reduction Project – Fullerton to Diversey

Name & Location – Chicago, IL

Short Description:

Working as an employee of Stanley Group and being a Part of a design team of Stanley Group, Baird, Watson and the Untied States Army Corps of Engineers to design a system to reduce the impact of waves generated by Lake Michigan on Lakeshore Drive.  The project included the design of a rip rap wall system to be constructed within lake and improvements to Lincoln Park to capture flow splashed into the park area due to lake wave action and convey the flow back to the lake.
