Ten Mile Creek Flood Study and Mapping

LMRK staff as a part of its previous employment provided Hydrological and Hydraulic analysis and floodproofing design for an appartment complex that was constructed within the limits of floodway of Ten Mile Creek and it experienced repetitive flooding and property damage and losses.  The design included the construction of berms and floodwalls and change of local drainage patterns. 

This effort included an extensive involvement with the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) to obtain a Letter of Map Revision (LOMR) for both Ten Mile Creek and its tributary which was the north boundary of the Park Ridge Appartment Complex.
